Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working within an enthusiastic and highly skilled team working closely with Teachers and Therapists. If you believe you are an outstanding Teaching Assistant who would enjoy working with our friendly and supportive team and would help our pupils to achieve their full potential, this role may be just what you are looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide learning support tailored to pupils' speech and language needs.
Contribute to lesson planning, assessments, and classroom preparation.
Help manage and model positive behavior to create a nurturing environment.
Assist pupils in developing social and communication skills both in and outside the classroom.
Support personal care needs and carry out therapy programs guided by therapists.
What we are looking for:
GCSE level numeracy and literacy (Grade C or above).
A passion for supporting children with complex needs.
Strong interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude.
Understanding of child development and barriers to learning (training provided).
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
