SAL Term Time Only - 4.5 hours per week

NJC Scale 3 23, 656 - 24,027 pro rata

Our Tailored Learning department is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join the team.

Within our provision, we offer a variety of courses which aim at supporting adults with various additional learning needs to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence further as part of our Supported Adult Learning (SAL) offer. We get to know our learners individually and work through a person-centered learning plan to support them through the steps they need to take to reach a personal target.

As a Teaching Assistant for our SAL provision, you will play an important role in creating an inclusive learning environment that allows learners to thrive and reach their potential. You will support adults with a variety of additional learning needs and work alongside the tutor to adapt learning materials activities according to individual learner needs.

This is a highly rewarding role and we hope to find a Teaching Assistant to help us develop the provision.

To be successful, you will need:

A flexible and personal approach to learning,

An ability to build strong rapport,

A desire to make a difference in the local community.

Knowledge and experience with British Sign Language would be greatly received.
