We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled teaching assistant to join our amazing school. You will be working with KS2 children but may also work with KS1 children from time to time. You will become part of a committed, diverse team of teaching professionals who truly want to, and do, make a difference. The successful candidate will ensure that children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment. We have great facilities and are committed to delivering a creative, engaging curriculum. Hours of work are Wednesday to Friday, 8.45am - 3.15pm.
There is also the opportunity to work an additional 1.5 hours per week as a midday supervisor and further hours supporting breakfast club if interested.
Your day may include supporting individual and small groups of pupils with their learning, encouraging children who may be struggling with their reading, helping the teaching team to prepare resources for future lessons or listening to those who may need help to talk through their emotions.
