Job Description
A Teaching Assistant (TA) is like the classroom's secret superhero--quietly making everything run more smoothly. They support the teacher and help pupils get the most out of their learning experience. Here's a snapshot of what they typically do:
Help prepare the classroom
before lessons and tidy up afterward.Support pupils one-on-one or in small groups
, especially those who need extra help.Assist with lesson delivery
, answering questions and keeping students engaged.Monitor behaviour
and encourage positive interactions.Track student progress
and report back to the teacher.Supervise during breaks, outings, or group activities
