Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Level 3 Mobile Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at AWF Services. As a Mobile TA, you will provide support across various classrooms, working closely with students of different abilities to support their learning and personal development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, helping to make a positive impact on the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support:

Provide high-quality, hands-on support to teachers and students in various classrooms, adapting to different subjects and year groups as needed.

Individual and Small Group Assistance:

Work with individual students or small groups to support learning, reinforcing instructions given by the teacher, and assisting with activities to help students progress in their learning.

Behaviour Management:

Support students with their behaviour and emotional needs, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Adaptability:

Move between different classes and year groups, providing consistent support to both teachers and students in various settings.

Assist in Planning & Preparation:

Help prepare learning resources, set up classroom activities, and assist with administrative tasks such as marking, record-keeping, and monitoring student progress.

Communication with Parents and Staff:

Maintain clear communication with teaching staff and other school personnel regarding student progress, needs, and behaviour.

Safeguarding:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to school safeguarding policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification

(or equivalent). Previous experience as a Mobile TA or in a similar role. Strong understanding of child development and learning needs. Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a variety of classroom environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Sound knowledge of behaviour management techniques and the ability to apply them consistently. A passion for supporting students' academic and personal development. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally at all times.
Desirable:

Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) or first aid. Knowledge of current educational practices and policies.
