Teaching Assistant

Location: Norton College, Tewkesbury, GL20 8UQ

Salary:

22,000 per annum

(not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 8.30am-4.00pm

Contract: Permanent, Term time only

What You'll Be Doing

No two days will ever be the same! You'll:

Support engaging, hands-on learning that builds confidence and curiosity Prepare resources and assist with classroom activities, bringing lessons to life Encourage communication, independence, and personal growth in every pupil Provide emotional and physical support with patience, empathy, and care Create a safe, positive, and nurturing space where pupils can flourish Work closely with teachers and therapists, learning and developing every step of the way

You'll have guidance, support, and the chance to build valuable skills -- while watching your pupils (and yourself) grow in confidence and achievement.

If you've worked with pupils with Autism or additional needs before -- even better. But most importantly, we're looking for people who care deeply about making a difference.
