Salary:

13.05 per hour (25,185 pro rata per annum)

Contract:

Fixed term (until 31st August 2026)

Working Hours:

Part time (20 hours, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year, term-time only, no Teacher Training days)

New Close Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated

Teaching Assistant

to join their dedicated team of staff, with effect from November 2025.

As a Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEND support, liaising with teachers and SENDCO.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for young people; Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents; Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills; Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent; Enjoys working with children and can develop good working relationships with them; Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations; Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative; Has experience of supporting children's learning; Has a positive and flexible attitude.
