Teaching Assistant - Mainstream & SEND Unit

85-95 PAYE (No umbrella - take full advantage of your tax-free allowance)

Hours:

38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:

Full-time, Term-time only

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Hayes, which also has a specialist SEND unit. The role will involve supporting pupils across the school, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other learning differences.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support in class and within the SEND unit Assist in implementing individual learning and support plans Promote inclusion and help pupils engage in the wider school community Support pupils' social, emotional and communication development Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals

Requirements:

Experience supporting children in a school or SEND setting Understanding of autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEND Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, empathy, and adaptability Relevant TA/SEND training or willingness to learn
