Teaching Assistant with Midday Assistant Duties

TA Hours:

28 per week (Mon- Thurs, 8.30am-12pm / 1.30pm 3.30pm | Fri, 8am12pm / 1.30pm-3.30pm)

MDA Hours:

5 per week (Mon-Fri, 12pm-1pm)

TA Salary:

16,559.48 - 16,822.18 (Scale 3 pro rata)

MDA Salary:

2,821.81 - 2,866.07 (Scale 1 pro rata)

Contract:

Term Time, Part Time, Permanent

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our energetic and proactive team, working within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with individuals and small groups. The successful candidate will be required to confidently support teaching and learning activities across the National Curriculum years; Years 1 to 6. Experience of delivering intervention programmes eg Read Write Inc, SALT, Narrative and Motor Skills United is desirable.





The Midday Assistant role includes supporting children with hygiene in preparation for their lunch, supervising children whilst they eat their lunch and helping younger children. A key part of the role is the ability to supervise the children in their play and being able to manage a class during wet playtimes.
