SCHOOL VACANCY

We have an exciting opportunity for Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team at Clifton Green Primary School.





The successful candidates will be responsible for working in conjunction with the Class Teacher to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Our Teaching Assistants play a fundamental role in supporting our pupils, promoting inclusion in learning and maintaining daily classroom routines. You will support our pupils in developing positive attitudes to learning and with the development of the skills and knowledge they need to be safe, successful and healthy.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for our children. You will require the following;




experience of working with young children knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities the ability to work as part of a team to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues the ability to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and their families.

The start date is September 2025 and the contract is fixed term until 31st August 2026.





The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.





This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and as such shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration. Any information supplied will be discussed at interview.
