The University of Edinburgh are offering this new post which will support teaching activities in the Library Academic Support (ASL) team. This 9 month fixed term post is an opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming Library team, to support the delivery of a wide range of high-quality teaching and learning activities in a large and diverse academic library. You will work closely with the Academic Support Librarians, organising and streamlining teaching materials and collecting and collating feedback and evaluation data to help us understand our impact.
The post is full-time (35hrs per week) but we will consider applications requesting job share. The working pattern will allow hybrid working, with some on campus working in Edinburgh required.

Supporting teaching activity in the Library Academic Support (ASL) team, including scheduling sessions and bookings
Promoting ASL Library teaching activity to staff and students
Developing streamlined co-ordination of teaching delivery and learning asset management.
Collecting and collate feedback and attendance data to enable evaluation of impact

A day in the life
Typically, a day on campus could include joining an online team meeting to collaborate with colleagues, supporting an Academic Support librarian to deliver a teaching session, checking on stocks of promotional materials for a library stall at an Open Day, and reviewing feedback data to produce a regular report.
A bit about you
Ideally, you'll be:
Experienced in planning and coordinating events
Highly competent user of IT systems, e.g. data entry, finding information online, using web publishing tools.
Excellent organiser with skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
