The Department welcomes applications independent of the applicant's main research field, but in particular from applicants able to teach undergraduate macroeconomics and/or econometrics. We currently have an opening for an outstanding candidate to join the Department of Economics as a Teaching Fellow specialising in any area of Economics. We offer an extensive range of exciting modules and candidates should be committed to the development and delivery of outstanding teaching, and have the enthusiasm and drive to contribute to the enhancement of the student experience.



About You
Applicants should share our passion for teaching and have the ability to motivate and inspire Warwick learners and be research active. A PhD or equivalent experience in Economics or a related discipline is essential.

If selected for interview, you will be asked to prepare two short presentations:

The first presentation should consist of a lecture style delivery on a topic within a core intermediate undergraduate module in one of the following three areas: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, or Econometrics. The second presentation should be either (i) based around a question from a problem set within a core intermediate undergraduate module in either Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, or Econometrics (for this second presentation you should choose a different area from that chosen for the first presentation, or (ii) a brief description of a research project you are currently pursuing.

Please be careful to avoid or minimise overlap between the two presentations.
