Our operations team are currently recruiting for a new Team Administrator position to provide vital support to the Terminal Management Office.
The role of a Team Administrator - Terminals is important in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various functions. Primarily, the Team Administrator serves as the administrative backbone, providing a fully comprehensive administration service to functional teams at all levels to enable successful delivery of the team's priorities. The primary focus is on supporting frontline colleagues and ensuring the smooth operation of our Security and Services department.
It's important to note that this role does not involve shift work and will be based onsite at our management suite within Terminals.
Possess strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems) and the ability to create and maintain efficient administrative systems
Organise meetings and events, prepare agendas and collate and circulate documents in a timely manner
Support frontline colleagues with the following: uniform allocation, car park application, ID application and access requests, the management and tracking of recognition vouchers
Being vigilant and ensuring that fire safety standards are met by keeping aisles corridors and doorways clear, and the office areas tidy (calling in Mitie as appropriate and ensuring cleaning rotas are delivered)
Liaise with third-party suppliers/contacts in the delivery of functional requirements
Proven ability in business software applications (Microsoft word processing, presentation and spreadsheet; internal applications; and other applications)
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, as the role involves managing meetings, events, and various administrative tasks. The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep track of multiple responsibilities is crucial
A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work harmoniously with others is crucial. The applicant should be approachable, helpful, and able to contribute positively to the team dynamic
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare documents, emails, and meeting agendas professionally
Ability to prioritise a demanding workload and changing deliverables
