The Berkley Re team based in London is a provider of Property & Casualty Reinsurance writing an international account from a European base. Our experienced underwriting teams write a broad range of Property Treaty, Casualty Treaty and Property Facultative products. Responsibilities

To Support Heads of Department with a number of tasks including but not limited to:



Provide comprehensive support to Heads of Department, ensuring they are fully prepared for meetings, events, and business travel. Manage complex calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and coordinate logistics. Arrange travel, accommodation, and transport; prepare detailed itineraries and supporting documentation.

Meeting & Event Coordination



Book meeting rooms and manage associated logistics. Organise restaurant reservations for business lunches and dinners. Attend meetings as required, take minutes, and distribute notes promptly. Assist the Executive Assistant with planning and execution of conferences, away days, internal socials, and client/broker events.

Administrative Duties



Process and submit expenses for Heads of Department, Deputy Head, and Senior Underwriters. Maintain and update the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system in collaboration with the MI/BI team and CUO. Download and distribute weekly IBNR reports to the senior leadership team. Manage the office mailbox and direct enquiries to the appropriate departments. Order office supplies, business cards, and manage courier and postal services.

Additional Support




Provide absence cover for the Executive Assistant when needed.

Excellent typing and computer skills Strong organizational skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills * Past office experience desirable
