What you'll be doing

As an

Assistant Team Leader

, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Team Leader to:


Allocate and coordinate daily tasks and team schedules Provide hands-on guidance and problem-solving support Step into leadership responsibilities when required Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive work environment Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

A natural leader with proven supervisory experience (ideally in construction, engineering, or a similar sector) A strong communicator who can motivate and support a diverse team Organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused Confident in managing workloads, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high standards Familiar with operational systems and health & safety regulations

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Management/Supervision (or equivalent) Experience in high-performance or deadline-driven environments Exposure to coaching, mentoring, or employee development strategies
