We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established therapeutic care provider for a skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join a children's residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
Ensure care delivery aligns with the home's Statement of Purpose and regulatory standards
Supervise and support residential care staff in providing consistent, high-quality care
Lead on therapeutic planning and contribute to individualised care strategies
Oversee daily operations including rotas, audits, and delegated budgets
Promote safeguarding, participation, and children's rights throughout all work
Collaborate with external professionals including education and health services
Participate in team meetings, reviews, and the on-call rota
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and emotionally secure environment for all young people
Requirements
Essential:
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or Health and Social Care - CYP)
Significant experience in children's residential care, preferably with EBD
Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of therapeutic approaches
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support care staff
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work across shifts including sleep-ins
Desirable:
Working towards or willing to undertake Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and quality standards
Previous experience in supervisory or team leadership roles
