The Role
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our team and be a positive role model and a hands on leader in service. You will bring with you to the role knowledge and experience of leading a team. The successful candidate will have a real passion for supporting people to fulfil their goals and dreams.
As Team Leader you will assist management with the overall responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the service and staff on duty on a day to day basis. You will promote our service users to gain independence and take an active part in their community. You will have a proactive and can-do attitude and encourage team work within service.
With personalised support plans tailored to individual needs, provided by core staff teams in the comfort of their own home, we strive to make a difference in our service users' quality of life. You will support management to ensure the service is meeting regulatory requirements, promoting best practice across the service and ensuring all support plans are person centred, regularly reviewed and updated.
Duties:
Completion of staffing rotas and ensuring cover meets service requirements
Inclusion within interviewing process for potential staff to assist management
Participating in on call rota to support management
Supervising and Appraisal of staff team, including welfare monitoring and reporting
Monitoring and auditing of petty cash float and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions within service
Demonstrate positive working practices within service and be a role model for others
About You
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience within a care setting, ideally within Learning Disabilities or Mental Health with experience of complex conditions.
You'll also be self motivated and committed to inspiring the people you support to make a positive difference in their lives.
