Job Title - Children's Senior Residential Support Worker
Minimum of one year experience working in an OFSTED regulated Children's Home
Job Purpose
To work as part of the team in the provision of care and support services with behaviours that may challenge; which aims to maximise the potential of individuals in line with ordinary life principles. As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will also need to be proactive in completing regular supervisions with staff and set a leading example of good practice.

- Assist the Managers in ensuring that each young person has their needs met through effective assessment and care planning.
- Review and monitor care plans. /contribute to review reports as directed
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to the staff teams, children, and the service in order to be part of a team that delivers high quality outcomes
- A proven ability to work on own initiative and to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lead and manage teams and complete supervisions
- Have some knowledge and understanding of issues relating to people with emotional and challenging behaviours.

- Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations
- Have at least one years' worth of experience as a Residential Support Worker (working in an OFSTED regulated setting)
- Significant progress made on Level 3 /4 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce

- Full UK Manual Driving License
