Team Leader - Supported Living (Colchester)

Overview:

We are seeking a proactive, confident

Team Leader

to join our supported living team, assisting adults with learning disabilities in independent living. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead staff, and ensure high standards of care.

Please note this position cannot consider overseas applications.

Some Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a team, ensuring smooth shift operations day to day. Assist with tasks such as medication orders, staff scheduling, support plans, and audits. Support tenants day to day, arrange and attend medication appointments. Lead by example, resolving issues while respecting individuals' choices. Provide personal and emotional support, promoting independence and engagement in activities. Supervisions and regular meetings with staff and management

Requirements:

Experience

: 2+ years in care, with team leadership experience.

Qualifications

: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards).

Skills

: Strong communication, IT, and organizational skills.

Driving

: Full UK driving license and own vehicle required (Manual driver)

Availability

: Able to work shifts (8 AM - 11 PM) with sleep-ins and one full weekend per month.

Please note this role requires you do to sleep in shifts which are paid at overtime rate of 70.85 per sleep in.
