We are currently looking for a courteous, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Team Leader to join Partnership of Care based in South Wales for one of our Supported Living Services. We are looking for someone with experience in supporting people with ASD and have the ability to show compassion, care and offer encouragement.

About the service:

We are looking for a Team Leader to be part of the staff team at The Cottage. The Cottage is a supported living service which provides support for 1 adult with learning disabilities and autism.


We use a person-centred approach focusing on supporting people to make their own choices, follow their own interests and gain independence. We empower people to choose how they want to live their life.

Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:

Assist in meeting the complex support needs of individual people with learning disabilities. To have sound understanding of behaviours that challenge and be able to respond appropriately. Contribute to the promotion of people with learning disabilities advocacy skills, ensuring that people with learning disabilities fully participate in the running of the Service and in all consultation processes. Be responsible for arranging and supporting people to attend regular heath & wellbeing appointments. Be engaging and guiding to help people we support gain social skills and home and life skills. Support individuals to achieve planned goals and personal wishes and dreams. Monitor and record daily activities, events and behaviours through our electronic system. Participate in learning and development opportunities organised by Partnership of Care.

About You

Be well-organised, Self-Motivated and delegating work appropriately. Proven ability to lead and supervise others. Be experienced in or confident to undertake training on administering medication. A full driving licence is preferred. Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.
