Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader - Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

We have a 3 bed EBD.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to implement care plans effectively. A background in childcare or experience working with children is highly desirable.

Key Points

Must have or training to have diploma training for Level 3 qualification or equivalent in children care Immediate start available Desire to progress to a Deputy Manager 14.00 to 15.50 an hour depending on experience and qualified Sleeps paid at 55. Shift: 10am till 10am including night sleep shift

Duties

Provide support to individuals in their daily routines, including personal care and assistance with activities. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs. Take clients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in the individual's condition. Foster a positive environment that encourages independence and self-esteem among clients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in childcare or working with children is necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and families. A valid driving license is preferred. Familiarity with creating or following care plans is beneficial. IT skills to assist clients with technology-related tasks would be an asset. A compassionate nature and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: 29,000.00-35,000.00 per year
