About the Role
We are seeking a Team Manager to join our URTEC Education Service, leading and developing high-quality education provision for young people aged 16-25 with SEND. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting both learners and staff to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a small but growing service. You will work collaboratively within the team, reporting to and working closely with the Service Manager to support service development and delivery.
As Team Manager, you will oversee education provision and lead the SEND team, with a strong focus on people management. You will be responsible for supporting, developing, and motivating staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture, and ensuring effective teaching and learning practices are embedded across the service.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
Level 2 ICT qualification or equivalent competence
Strong understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment for SEND learners
Proven experience managing teams and building effective working relationships
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. 7307, PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed)
Knowledge of post-16 SEND provision and quality assurance processes
