Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
Assist in the culinary processes, including cooking and food preparation, to maintain quality standards.
Train, mentor, and support team members in their roles, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is essential.
Strong background in culinary arts or food production, with hands-on experience in cooking and food preparation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not mandatory.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service is required.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
