Team Leader or Supervisor
I am looking for confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated person to join our Team at Arbor Forest. This position is for experience Team Leader or Supervisor who can start working for us ASAP.
Salary: 33,000 - 34,000 per annum + overtimes
Working hours: 6-2, 2-10 rotating weekly shift pattern
This is full-time permanent opportunity from day one.
Some of the duties for Team Leader:
Lead a team of 5
Attend and contribute to the daily production review meetings
Using the production schedule, ensure correct source products are used for treatment
Ensure source products are safely and efficiently transported to the required area, using forklift
Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are strictly followed
Production targets of quantity, quality and cost are achieved, and waste is minimised
Ensure the accuracy of data input/ticketing of the team
Monitor and drive training of the team
Drive improvements relating to productivity and service and to champion lean manufacturing initiatives
Reporting and accounting for performance and improvement and recovery actions
Where required, operate a side loader and treatment tanks to achieve required output
Ensure plant defects are effectively reported to maintenance
Skills & Knowledge:
Supervisory or Team Leading experience in an industrial production environment, preferably within a wood or similar industry,
Counterbalance forklift licence up to date and experience minimum of 3 years
Side loader license and experience desirable
PC skills - ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook,
IOSH / NEBOSH desirable,
NVQ level 2 Team Leading or equivalent,
Effective communicator
