Detailed Design Report
Operation and Maintenance Manual
Designers Risk Assessment (DRA) Report
The project involves the development of an
oil conditioning rig
for a prime contractor to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD). You will work closely with our client's design team, who will provide technical inputs, outline information, and supporting imagery.
Responsibilities:
Translate engineering input into professionally structured technical documents
Ensure documents meet industry and (where applicable) MoD or Def Stan standards
Work to a high standard of clarity, structure, and technical accuracy
Coordinate with engineers to clarify technical details
Deliver fully formatted and proofed documents by project deadlines
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in technical writing for engineering or defence projects
Strong knowledge of documentation standards (e.g., O&M, DRA, design specs)
Excellent command of English and attention to detail
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Familiarity with MoD or regulated environments is a strong advantage
