Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield are excited to be looking for a talented technical dance teacher to join our team. We are currently looking for a strong technical dance teacher to share their experience, knowledge, creativity, inspiration, and industry expertise to instil strong technical foundations for our students on which professional training can be grown in our additional class offering. The successful candidate will have a natural affinity with children, a caring nature and a desire to help children develop and achieve to the best of their ability. Successful candidates will be overflowing with energy, able to provide exciting and engaging technical dance sessions in classical and lyrical styles and will have a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers. They will also be organised, good communicators and great team players.

About Razzamataz

We are an award winning theatre school providing training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles to children aged 2-18. Alongside our main school classes, we also provide additional classes focusing on the technical side of dance to ages 6-18. We aim to develop a child's confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment.

Our classes run on Saturdays during term time and classes are held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield S8 8BR. Our school runs from 9am-4.30pm on a Saturday, the position is to teach our Project Intense Phase 1B classes. This position would be a 1 hour session between 12.25-1.25pm, for ages 10-18.

Our Project Intense classes are designed to bridge the gap between theatre school and vocational college training and for students to demonstrate strong technique alongside a professional and resilient attitude. Not only do we provide highly quality training for those who want to pursue as a career, this class is also for students who just love to dance! Experience in technical dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical are necessary and experience working with children is desirable.
