Job Summary

IG Masonry Support has combined experience with innovation to provide the most practical and advanced range of Masonry Support products on the market.

Our Technical Detailers produce both technical and fabrication drawings to customer specifications, working closely with customers, project and structural engineers.



The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, initially based in Swadlincote, with the option to work flexibly once you have completed your internal training and feel confident.


Responsibilities and Duties

? Effective management of multiple live projects with a pro-active client focus and committed to achieve delivery dates.

? Issue drawings in line with agreed timescales.

? Maintenance of project logs to ensure to ensure all figures reported are current and to aid workload prioritisation.

? Produce Operation and Maintenance Manuals in conjunction with the project Engineer and as requested by Clients.

? Provide a great service to both internal and external customers.

? Site visits to develop customer relationships, solve technical issues and develop product design.

? Carry out product presentations as a training aid.

? Conduct site installation training sessions for customers.

? Train Junior Detailers to produce accurate drawings for our products and impart your knowledge so they can become self-sufficient. Qualifications and Skills

? AutoCAD and production of manufacturing drawings is essential.

? Experience with SolidWorks is desirable.

? Excellent attention to detail.

? Experience of reading technical/architectural drawings would be an advantage

? Focused on Customer Service with excellent communication skills.

? Good organisational skills.
