About the Role:
Were looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our growing Digital Platforms team at ME+EM. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving technical challenges and collaborating closely with engineers to build, scale, and maintain the core systems that underpin our ecommerce experience. Youll be responsible for driving a stream of work focused on platform stability, performance, and data quality including areas such as analytics implementation, platform configuration, error resolution, internal tooling improvements, and integration support. Youll work cross- functionally to identify and prioritise opportunities, define requirements, and ensure delivery of solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with our business goals. This is a hands-on product role with deep involvement in technical delivery and architectural decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into clearly defined technical solutions and user stories.
Own and prioritise a backlog of platform and operational improvements, support
requests, and infrastructure enhancements.
Lead delivery of projects such as: Improving analytics and tracking implementation
Managing third-party platform configurations (e.g. shipping, payments, integrations)
Resolving platform issues and implementing preventative monitoring
Enhancing internal development workflows and build processes
Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Data to ensure solutions are technically sound, performant, and scalable.
Contribute to discussions around platform architecture and infrastructure planning.
Use data to inform prioritisation and to measure the impact of changes.
Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders across the business.
Experience working in a technical product management, platform product, or engineering-adjacent product role.
Strong understanding of software development workflows and modern engineering practices.
Familiarity with ecommerce architecture and third-party platform integrations.
High-level knowledge of analytics, tracking, and data attribution tools and frameworks.
Ability to work with engineers to explore technical options and understand architectural trade-offs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable managing a mix of planned project work and operational requests.
Skills:
Experience in product management or technical delivery roles.
Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD workflows, and modern tooling.
High-level knowledge of analytics and tracking platforms (e.g. GA4, tag managers, pixel integrations).
Proven experience turning complex requirements into actionable work.
Skilled at working with cross-functional teams and translating between technical and business stakeholders.
Comfortable using data to prioritise and evaluate outcomes.
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with headless or composable commerce platforms (e.g. Centra) is a plus.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
