We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Production Co-Ordinator to join our Chains division team. In this role you will support the design, manufacture, refurbishment, and supply of conveyor chain systems. The role works closely with sales, production, and suppliers to provide technical input, manage orders, and ensure conveyor chain products are delivered to customer requirements for performance, quality, cost, and lead time.
Responsibilities
Managing stock levels.
Processing new orders and coordinating scheduling with sales and production, both internally when manufactured in house & externally when sub-contracted to one of our suppliers.
Procurement of material for internal chain manufacture.
Procurement of sub-con parts and services.
Arranging transport and import of internationally sourced components.
Liaising with internal manufacturing area, to ensure orders are manufactured to time, quality and cost, and that upcoming production schedule meets customer needs.
Managing arrangements for and costs of transporting goods to site.
Ensure that vendor supplied parts meet quality specifications and are within specified tolerance.
Assist in reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
Travel to vendor sites as the need arises.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Prior experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
