to oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing design coordination, ensuring technical compliance, driving project delivery, and liaising with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical delivery of construction projects from design through to handover.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate technical submissions.
Review and manage project specifications, drawings, and engineering documents to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Act as the technical interface between the client, design team, and construction team.
Manage and monitor project programs and report progress against key milestones.
Conduct technical risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide technical support to site teams and resolve construction or design-related issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all project stages.
Assist with procurement and value engineering initiatives.
Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical project management role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, design management, and technical coordination.
Proven experience delivering complex commercial or infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject) and common design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Familiarity with construction contracts (e.g., JCT,) and technical standards.
Desirable:
Professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB, RICS).
Experience with sustainability frameworks (e.g., BREEAM,).
