Technical Project Manager - BMS / Smart Buildings


We're hiring a

Technical Project Manager

to join our Digital Buildings Centre of Excellence team in Coventry.



This is a hands-on role for someone with deep experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) or Master System Integrator (MSI) work. You'll lead and deliver technical projects, act as the go-to expert on Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure platform, and support our teams and partners globally.

The role blends engineering with project delivery. You'll drive technical solutions across multiple sites and geographies - not from construction sites, but in collaborative office-based environments. Occasional overseas travel may be required for kick-offs and design meetings.

You'll be based in our Coventry office 3 to 4 days a week, with flexibility depending on project needs.

What you'll do:



Lead technical BMS projects from scope through to delivery Coordinate with engineering, software and delivery teams Own timelines, budgets and resource planning Act as technical lead on Schneider EcoStruxure Integrate BMS with cloud and 3rd party systems Collaborate across functions to resolve blockers Stay up to date on smart building tech and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT)



Qualifications:

What you bring:



Technical background in BMS or MSI environments Strong engineering mindset - this isn't just coordination Experience delivering complex technical projects Working knowledge of software or digital systems Confidence translating technical into business speak Awareness of cybersecurity in BMS HND, HNC or degree in engineering PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or similar certification
