With ownership of multiple technical projects, you'll lead planning and implementation, ensuring progress remains aligned with strategic goals, resource allocation and timelines. Through detailed project plans and regular reporting, you'll proactively identify risks and manage mitigation strategies to maintain delivery excellence. Collaborating with enterprise architects, you'll help define the technology requirements that underpin smarter business processes and support long-term organisational objectives. You'll also contribute to project-based financial planning, collating expenditure and engaging with budget holders to support sustainable investment in Digital Services.

Essential Criteria

An experienced project management professional, you'll bring substantial expertise in leading technical projects and a proven ability to deliver outcomes that drive business success. With deep knowledge of software development methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall, you apply the right approach with clarity and confidence. A natural organiser, you're comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and operating at pace. Formally accredited in project management (such as PRINCE2, AMP or equivalent). You'll be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships and influence at senior levels with both internal and external suppliers.
