Job Overview


We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager with direct experience in window and door fabrication to drive adoption of Windowmaker Software.

This role combines technical expertise in fabrication workflows with consultative sales, focusing on aligning our software solutions with clients' operational needs and delivering tailored implementation strategies.

This role is perfect for anybody within the industry at the moment i.e. estimators and order processors looking to branch out into a new role and environment.

Software-Driven Process Consultation



Conduct operational audits of clients' fabrication workflows to identify integration opportunities for Windowmaker Software's modules (production scheduling, order management, CNC interfacing).

Advise on software-enabled optimization of:

Material Yield: Leverage Windowmaker's algorithms to minimize waste in glass/panel cutting Production Sequencing: Utilize real-time machine data integration for dynamic job prioritization Compliance Automation: Configure software to enforce UKCA/CE marking workflows and Part L thermal performance documentation

Solution Design & Implementation



Develop client-specific implementation plans for Windowmaker Software, including:

Legacy System Migration: Map data transfers from incumbent ERP/MES platforms to Windowmaker's architecture Hardware Integration: Specify requirements for interfacing with CNC routers, edgebanders, and glass processing lines Customisation Scoping: Identify needs for bespoke script development (e.g., custom report generation, machine-specific post-processors)

Technical Sales Execution



Lead hands-on software demonstrations showcasing:

V?isualization for complex fenestration configurations Automated quote generation tied to current material pricing Real-time production dashboards tracking line efficiency Convert technical consultations into sales by articulating ROI through case studies (e.g., 18% throughput gains at Client X via Windowmaker's scheduling module)

Post-Sale Enablement



Design and deliver training programs covering:

A?dmin Training: User role configuration, access controls, audit trails Shop Floor Training: Barcode scanning workflows, machine error resolution API Basics: Introduction to REST API for custom integrations

Requirements



3+ years in window/door production roles with direct experience using fabrication management software for estimating or processing purposes (e.g., Windowmaker, LogiKal, FenestraPro) Demonstrated ability to work on customer projects and consult on product fit
