HTSL Group is a collective of specialist businesses, incorporating Phoenix Dosimetry and other subsidiaries, supporting the UK's radiation safety, instrumentation, and non-destructive testing (NDT) markets. Our portfolio includes radiation detection instruments, calibration and maintenance services, RPA consultancy, and full Radiological Managed Services (RMS) for customers across the healthcare, nuclear, defence, and industrial sectors.

The Technical Sales Representative (Southern) will play a key role in driving growth across the HTSL Group and Phoenix Dosimetry portfolio, including instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, and RPA consultancy.

This is a hands-on sales role that combines technical expertise with commercial capability. You will engage directly with customers across the Southern region, conducting site visits, delivering demonstrations, and providing technical guidance to help clients select the right solutions. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical understanding with customer engagement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across the Southern UK region. Promote HTSL's full Radiological Managed Services offering, including instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, and RPA consultancy. Provide technical advice and product support to help customers identify the most suitable solutions. Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and virtual presentations as required. Manage existing client accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all customer interactions and opportunities within the company's business systems. Collaborate with internal teams, operations, service, and technical specialists to ensure a smooth transition from quotation through to delivery. Support marketing and business development activities, including participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Act as a professional ambassador for HTSL Group, upholding the company's reputation for quality, reliability, and technical excellence.

Key Skills and Competencies

Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, ideally within the radiological, healthcare, nuclear, or defence sectors. Degree in Physics or similar scientific discipline preferable but no essential A "Can Do" attitude and a willingness to both learn and share knowledge Interpersonal skills with good business acumen Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills with problem solving approach Working comfortably within a small team Knowledge of radiological instrumentation or scientific instrumentation desirable. Excellent telephone skills Good level of listening skills Sharp negotiation and time-management skills
Confident understanding of sales process

40,000 - 50,000 Per Annum based on experience
