An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join our Engineering Team at Leicestershire County Council, one of the best performing councils in the country. The successful applicant will join a motivated, friendly team of professionals committed to delivering public sector road maintenance and highway improvements that offer best value for money whilst simultaneously pushing the boundaries of innovation and carbon savings in construction. Our team has a track record of incorporating recycled materials and innovative construction techniques to reduce costs and our impact on the environment. You will report into Senior Technicians and assist them to support the design and delivery of Highway construction schemes and maintenance works within time and cost targets.

Our Engineering Services team has a track record of incorporating recycled materials and innovative construction techniques to reduce costs and our impact on the environment. They are responsible for the efficient design, planning and project management of multiple Highway construction schemes and maintenance works to achieve delivery within time and cost targets, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality management systems.
