Job Description


We have a great opportunity for a Delivery Manager based covering the South West and South Wales region.

You must have a very strong fibre, PIA, cable, and activation background together with experience managing field operational teams in an FTTP delivery environment.

As the Delivery Manager, you are responsible for the receipt and delivery of all client work orders. Experience within the Virgin Media Network and PIA is preferred; however, you must have a background in the installation and activation of FTTP networks.

You will support and drive the rollout of superfast Broadband and the Network expansion while developing the operational teams to ensure targets are met while maintaining contract performance and quality standards.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Client Management Lead
  • Management and development of staff
  • Delivery of Fibre, FTTP projects \xe2\x80\x93 utilising PIA, underground and overhead.
  • Resource Management, to include Subcontract Teams to meet demands and challenges.
  • Help Develop the required Department Structure.
  • Financial control to meet required profitability/performance expectations.
  • Management reporting to Client and Internal Senior Management.
  • Representation of the company at Client meetings.
  • Oversee the running of all Field Operations.
  • Liaise with the local authorities (ensure appropriate notices and work programme agreements etc.)
  • Ensure the whereabouts of staff tracking them with progress reports.
  • Adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental policies
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Telecoms and FTTP Networks
  • Experience in managing field operational teams in an FTTP delivery environment.
  • Strong skills in client management, planning, logistics, resource management and commercial controls.
  • Good working Knowledge of work management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • NRSWA Accreditation.
  • Well organised and Professional.
  • Effective Leadership and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, and able to motivate others effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
