Telecoms Field Auditor (quality, Health & Safety)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Auditor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive audits of sites to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the telecommunications industry, a deep understanding of relevant safety protocols, and an ability to identify, report, and help resolve non-compliance issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct On-site Audits:

Travel to various telecommunications sites to perform regular and surprise audits.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect installations, repairs, and maintenance work to ensure they meet technical specifications, company standards, and industry best practices. Where applicable, identifying and documenting workmanship issues, suggesting corrective actions and improvements.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Verify that all work is conducted in a safe manner, following all company and legal health and safety regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely audit reports, including findings, photographic evidence, and recommended corrective actions. Maintain a clear and organized audit trail, tracking all documented issues from identification to resolution. Communicate audit findings to relevant stakeholders, including project managers and site supervisors.

Training and Coaching:

Provide guidance and feedback to field teams on best practices for quality and safety. Assist in the development and improvement of audit checklists, protocols, and safety procedures. Contribute to the creation of training materials related to quality and safety standards. Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the role.

Qualifications:



NRSWA Unit 2, SA001, SA001, S7 and S8 is essential Valid, UK Driving License Minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in a field-based role. Proven experience in a quality assurance, health and safety, or auditing capacity is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including fibre optic networks. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and industry-specific standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments. Comfortable with heights and climbing.

MONDAY - SATURDAY 8AM - 5PM



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 130.00-180.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
