Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rigger to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and network equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and telecommunication infrastructure. The Rigger will work to ensure equipment is securely positioned and operational, adhering to safety standards and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
Anritsu line sweeping and certified in all types of PCN rigging an advantage
Knowledge of fibre and testing an advantage.
Conduct quality checks
Competent in use of Microsoft office programs such as Excel, Word etc.
Key Objectives of the Role:
To Rig Telecom structures in accordance with the following process:
The role requires the ability to interpret job packs to determine both structure and active kit requirements (incl antenna/combiners/MHA's RET motors, RRUs). A full complement of product knowledge must be clear with the ability to rig various structure types for all networks.
Testers must employ various fault-finding exercises in accordance with quality control sheet to determine the suitability of the rigged structure for dispatch. Complete Asiccs using tablet device to record information accurately for projects department to complete Handover Pack.
Knowledge & Experience
A good understanding of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word.
Grade A-C in GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
Good interpersonal skills
Anritsu advanced line sweeping and certified in all types of PCN rigging an advantage
An understanding of various technologies such as L800/UG900 1800/2100/2600/3400 and knowledge of fibre an advantage.
PIM certified an advantage
Ability to read compass/orientations EGN
The Ability to conduct quality checks
Ability to read Engineering drawings
Excellent observation of Health and Safety requirements
Able to accommodate flexible working
Clean current driving licence
