Telecoms Surveyor -S11 and S13

The Role

As a Telecoms Surveyor you will mainly be covering the Portsmouth/ South Coast area and have S11 and S13 accreditation, as well as OpenReach infrastructure experience. The key responsibilities include:

Surveying

-

Conducting thorough surveys of existing underground and overhead networks to identify suitable routes for fibre optic cables. Design Packs

Creating detailed planning and design packs that include information on Civils, Cabling, and Plant. Identifying Solutions-Finding solutions to potential problems in the network to minimize civil engineering work. Reporting-Providing regular updates on survey progress and any issues that may affect the project. Dealing with Clients and ABS Head Office Technical Drawings- Interpreting telecom design blueprints and construction maps. Any other ad hoc duties that maybe required

Our Ideal Candidate

The Telecoms Surveyor role requires someone who isn't afraid to take ownership of their work and have exposure to working in the same or similar role, out and about delivering results on tight deadlines. You will be provided with a company van, PPE, plus all the equipment you will need to carry out your duties.

Other key attributes include:

Current accreditation includingS11 and S13 for OpenReach network work Exposure to working in this type of role Being able to work outdoors and not be phased by challenging environments such as bad weather conditions. Positive and flexible approach. Wiliness for daily travel and be able to stay away throughout the week Outstanding communication and customer service skills Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop Exposure to software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer (Training will be provided) Ideally a clean driving license. (No previous convictions on your records)
