Job Description

Position Overview:

The Telemarketer will conduct outbound calls and emails to follow up on campaign engagement and target lists, qualify leads, secure meetings for BD teams, maintain accurate data, and feed market intelligence back to the wider marketing teams.

Key responsibilities:



Make outbound calls/emails to campaign responders and assigned target lists. Qualify leads against defined criteria (company size, role, requirement, timescale, budget). Book appointments (face-to-face or virtual) for business development team according to agreed targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within CRM (leads, calls, next actions). Provide feedback to marketing/digital/content teams on prospect responses, objections, market trends and content gaps. Collaborate with Digital & Performance Lead, Content & Copy Lead and Data Coordinator to refine campaign lists, messaging and approach. Meet/exceed monthly targets (calls made, leads qualified, meetings booked) and contribute to improving conversion rates. Identify new customer segments and new projects, and actively engage till point of qualification Use multi-channel approach to ensure forensic identification and knowledge of new prospects

Person specification:



Essential:



Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales or lead generation (preferably B2B). Strong verbal communication skills, confidence making outbound calls. Organised, disciplined with CRM/data entry accuracy Resilient, self-motivated and comfortable working to targets and under pressure. Team-oriented: able to collaborate with marketing, BD, data teams. Good time management and prioritisation skills.

Desirable:



Some knowledge or interest in the mechanical subcontractor, hire or construction sectors. Experience utilising CRM/MA platforms. Ability to provide meaningful market insights and feedback.
