Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Telemarketer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contact prospective and existing clients to introduce our services, identify their need and book appointments or demonstrations for our consultants.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys speaking to people, building rapport, and contributing to the continued growth of a respected consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce OJ Health & Safety's services.
Follow up warm leads generated through marketing, website enquiries, networking, or events.
Identify client needs and match them to the appropriate services (H&S, Fire Safety, Asbestos, Training, HR, etc).
Book appointments, site visits, or consultations for our technical and sales teams.
Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
Achieve agreed call targets, lead conversion metrics, and appointment-setting goals.
Represent OJ Health & Safety Solutions Ltd in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects and existing clients.
Support wider business development by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
Provide feedback to management on market trends, client needs and lead quality.
Requirements
Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, lead generation or a customer-contact role.
Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner and persuasive skills. o Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Motivation to achieve targets and contribute to company growth.
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
Preferred
Experience in B2B telemarketing or appointment setting.
Knowledge of health and safety or compliance-related industries (advantage but not required).
Experience using a CRM system for tracking calls and leads.
Background in sales support, customer service, or business development.
Comfortable supporting marketing activities such as follow-up calls after email campaigns or events
Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
Comfortable discussing Health & Safety, Fire Safety, or related consultancy services (training provided if required).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 20,000.00-30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
