We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic branded kitchen.
This is a temporary role but could lead to a permanent role if wanted.
We are part of the chef and brewer chain.
This temporary role can come with accommodation if needed.
Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, freshness, and presentation excellence
Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards within the kitchen environment
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their culinary skills and ensure team cohesion
Assist in menu planning, including developing new recipes and seasonal offerings
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Provide excellent service by supporting serving staff during busy periods when required
Experience
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience within a culinary context is highly desirable
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative cooking techniques
Experience in managing food production processes from start to finish
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including customer service standards and hospitality principles
