Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and pleasant environment for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest services. The Porter will assist with various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment, particularly in the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist them with their needs, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in kithcen and public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms. Clean and set restaurant & bar for breakfast service Assist with luggage handling and transportation for guests for early morning departures Respond promptly to guest requests should they need assistance through the night Demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is beneficial, particularly in guest services or hospitality roles. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Previous bar experience is beneficial Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Due to our rural location, public transportation is not available.

Hours will be 11:00pm to 7:00am/ 5 days a week

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
