Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Temporary Room Leader. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. As Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and leading a team of childcare professionals. Your role will be pivotal in fostering positive relationships with both staff and families.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support staff during shifts to ensure high-quality care and education for children. Implement and maintain daily routines that promote the development of children in your care. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery environment. Assist in training new staff members, providing guidance on best practices in childcare. Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills and teamwork. Manage daily administrative tasks related to the operation of the nursery.

Experience

Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or nursery experience is highly desirable. Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to interact effectively with staff, children, and parents.
This is temporary position, which may result in a position.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 13.75-15.25 per hour
