Lanfine Ltd is a soft furnishings manufacturer based in Darvel, Ayrshire. We are small business with an exciting opportunity for a Textile Operator to join our manufacturing team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with industrial sewing machine experience and a keen eye for detail. The role will also involve quality inspections and packing of our beautiful, crafted product. We manufacture high quality, high end soft furnishings for retail customers; so, experience in manufacturing, cushions and curtains would be beneficial.

We offer an attractive 4 day working week based a 34-hour working week, with overtime rates available from 35 hours plus. We are also open to considering part time contracts.

:

Operating sewing machines within the factory in a safe manner.

Stitching various fabrics bases.

Uphold quality standards throughout the sewing process meeting the specified customer requirement.

Reading specifications and production paperwork.

Consistent quality and output level.

As a textile worker you will be happy to learn new skills and work across various departments withing the factory namely cutting, sewing, quality inspections and packing.

Collaborating with staff across the business to meet deadlines, quality standards maintaining timely completion of orders.

Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Should have ability to perform basic sewing machine maintenance, such as cleaning sewing machine, changing needles and threads.

Profile:

Ideally 2 years' sewing machine experience in cut and sew production environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality is a must!

Confident to thread and work a range of industrial sewing machines.

Knowledge of how to assemble fabric soft furnishing products.

Positive can-do attitude.

Comfortable working as part of a small team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexible and adaptable.

Good organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.

Problem solving skills.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Job Type:

Full-time or part-time considered.

Pay: 12.21 per hours

Additional Pay:

Occasional overtime available.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday (34 hours per week).
