The Role

We are seeking an experienced

Weaver

to join our vibrant production team at our Guiseley mill on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills, contribute to our weaving output, and ensure we meet customer deadlines, all while working with premium-quality fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

Operate looms efficiently to minimise downtime through effective management of weft changes and piece felling/weaving. Read and interpret peg plans, drafts, and shaft positions. Maintain the high standards of our woven fabrics by reducing second-quality production. Support the Cloth Production Manager in identifying and resolving quality issues. Collaborate with set weavers to develop and refine weaving techniques. Carry out other related duties as required.

Attributes & Experience

Previous experience as a weaver in a textile manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent timekeeping and reliability. Ability to accurately distinguish between different colours. Good dexterity and familiarity with yarn handling.
