We are currently recruiting Ushers to join our Layered Reality team at Elvis Evolution (https://elvisevolution.com/)

Layered Reality(TM) are the leaders in immersive entertainment experiences - with powerful storytelling, cutting-edge technology and outstanding customer service. We combine live theatre (actors, movie-scale sets, and special effects) together with the latest digital technology (live music, projection mapping and motion simulators) plus physical sensations (sight, sound, smell, touch and movement) to create a unique immersive experience that is truly memorable.

You will be self-motivated with a can-do attitude whilst ensuring all our guests are wowed the moment they step inside our doors and receive the highest quality service throughout their visit.

Scope & Responsibilities

Working within the customer service department you will be the face of Layered Reality and as an Usher, you'll help guide our audiences through their journey, ensuring they feel informed, excited, and fully taken care of throughout their visit. If you love working with people, thrive in dynamic environments, and enjoy performance or events, this could be the perfect role for you. You will stay with your guests throughout their experience, ensuring their safety and enjoyment for the duration of their show.

Background Experience

Previous experience in theatres, live events, or exhibitions in a Usher or Hosting role is highly desirable.

Desired Attributes

A bubbly, welcoming personality with a passion for hospitality and entertainment. Previous experience in ushering, immersive theatre, live events, customer service, or similar guest-facing roles. Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment.A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in handling guest interactions and resolving minor issues with empathy and efficiency. Experience working in a guest facing role. A keen eye for detail. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Confident working as part of a team and independently. Flexible (shifts including daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays). Working days: Wednesday-Sunday Conversational English.
Job Title: Usher

Job Type: 32 hours per week, part-time with opportunity for overtime. Start date: 15th September 2025

Probation: 3 Months

Pay: 14.25 per hour

Location: Excel Centre, London
