We are a networked, paperless, Varian department. We have a managed service contract securing a fleet of five Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, two CT simulators, a Bravos brachytherapy unit and Xstrahl superficial unit. Our dosimetry planning is radiographer-led, predominately using VMAT and IMRT. We also have an established SABR service and an expanding on treatment review team including a radiographer led late effects review service. We have SGRT (Align RT) on all our Linacs and on CT (SimRT).
We are a clinical placement site for student radiographers from the University of Suffolk and University of Hertfordshire (UH) and apprentices from Sheffield Hallam University and UH giving you the opportunity to help us shape the next generation of therapeutic radiographers.

To fit in with the team, applicants should be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication skills. As a department with an extensive image review focus, we are looking for applicants with a keen interest in this area.
You will work a four-day week with a day off during the week, working early and late shifts between 07:00 - 20:00hrs. You will be expected to work some Saturdays, bank holidays and on-call duties at the weekends.
