Job Role:

Support Worker / Children's Residential Home.

Location:

Runcorn, Cheshire.

Salary:

12.60 per hour PLUS a

dditional: 62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional 3,000 -6,000 P/A)

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.




Castle View is a 6 bed home and we have 6 boys aged 8-15. We specialise in delivering therapeutic care to children who have suffered from traumatic early childhood experiences and as such have attachment and emotional regulation difficulties. We are a very busy and very active home and we are looking for somebody who can bring something special to our team, we like to be outdoors, we like to play a lot of football or basketball and we love spontaneous adventures. We are a committed, passionate and therapeutic thinking team who are dedicated to changing the lives of children and improving the outcomes for them.


We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for younger children who very active and energetic. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.


The role can be physically demanding and you will need lots of energy to keep up BUT you could be the person to change a life for the better.

What do you need?



Great communication skills, fun, positive and energetic. Experience and qualifications in chldren's care or transferable skills such as children's nursery, sport, education or early years experience. Ability to build trusting relationships and be a role model Full UK Driving licence is essential. You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
