Your Responsibilities
As a Dental Therapist with us, you'll have the opportunity to:
Carry out a range of procedures including: Applying fluoride and fissure sealants to teeth, taking dental x-rays, taking impressions of teeth, undertaking restoration of teeth. intra oral scanning.
Upskill: Do joint up working with the dentist on complex treatments and extracting deciduous teeth.
Elevate Oral Health: Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, to help our patients achieve their best smiles.
Caring for Overall Health: Conduct thorough oral cancer screenings, contributing to our patients' overall well-being.
Empower Patients: Educate and empower our patients with personalised oral hygiene techniques and care instructions.
Pain Management: Administer local anesthesia when needed to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Education: Diploma or degree in dental therapy and be registered with the General Dental Council or graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Dental Expertise: Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Location
We are located in Brough, East Yorkshire. You may also have an opportunity to work in our Hull and Hessle branches.
